Dear Friends and Family,
Greetings from Lake Chapala! Thanks for allowing us to share with you a couple of important updates.
One Solitary Life
He was born in an obscure village, the child of a peasant. He grew up in another village, where he worked in a carpenter shop until he was 30. Then, for three years, he was an itinerant preacher.
He never wrote a book. He never held an office. He never had a family or owned a home. He didn’t go to college. He never lived in a big city. He never traveled 200 miles from the place where he was born. He did none of the things that usually accompany greatness. He had no credentials but himself.
He was only 33 when the tide of public opinion turned against him. His friends ran away. One of them denied him. He was turned over to his enemies and went through the mockery of a trial. He was nailed to a cross between two thieves. While he was dying, his executioners gambled for his garments, the only property he had on earth. When he was dead, he was laid in a borrowed grave, through the pity of a friend.
Twenty centuries have come and gone, and today he is the central figure of the human race. I am well within the mark when I say that all the armies that ever marched, all the navies that ever sailed, all the parliaments that ever sat, all the kings that ever reigned–put together–have not affected the life of man on this earth as much as that one, solitary life.
He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and a million years from now we will still marvel at the miracle of his incarnation!
Stasia: the Greatest Baker!
For the past several weeks, Stasia has been a leading contender in “America’s Greatest Baker,” a contest sponsored by the “Cake Boss.” The winner will have the opportunity to share their work in Bake from Scratch magazine, win $20,000, and meet renowned baker, Buddy Valastro (the Cake Boss). What will we do with the $20K if Stasia wins?
“First, I would repair my kitchen that is very damaged. Then, we just celebrated our 40th anniversary and have never taken a trip alone together. A romantic trip to Italy without kiddos!”
Any left-over funds will be put toward a prayer loft for Noah from the roof of our home here in Mexico. This has been a long-standing dream and goal: to provide for our amazing son a place where he can pray as he looks over the surrounding hills and at the lake a mile away.
Thursday December 4th is the FINAL DAY to vote for the finalists, so please click the link below and vote. It’s FREE!
John’s Latest Book
John released his second book this year: “MEET ME AT THE SUMMIT: A 30 Day Prayer Adventure.”
Here is one of the reviews on Amazon:
“This is an exciting book to understand how powerful our prayers really are. If you think God isn’t listening or you are frustrated with the call on your life, this is the book for you. Each day a scripture is well chosen and builds upon the next. The stories are compelling and the wisdom and understanding show through this anointed servant of God. My wife also read this book and said she received personal revelation while reading this book of what was holding her back in stepping out and following God’s will. Recommended, particularly if you are ambitious to do God’s work in the world.” ~Tim Williams
We would like to offer a complimentary Audible download of “MEET ME AT THE SUMMIT” for your gift of any amount this month. The Audible version features an outstanding narration performance by Michael Dobbs who is a sportscaster and a pastor! Here is a sample chapter:

We Appreciate Your Support
As missionaries in Mexico, the surge of inflation and the devaluation of the dollar has done a double whammy on our personal economy. We have taken a big hit these past three years due to the exchange rates and fast-rising cost of living here in Mexico.
That said, it is such a pleasure to live and serve among these precious people here on the lakeside. Being a hub of prayer support for our ministry friends across the globe has been such an honor. We often get calls and prayer requests from faraway places, and one of our mentorees from Australia will be hosting a massive prayer event in Mexico City next summer, which we hope to participate in. We are still believing for revival across Mexico and the United States.
We are ever so grateful to God for the outcome of the US election on November 5th. This is something we have prayed and believed for the last four years. GOD IS FAITHFUL!! We know some bright days are ahead and that God will be moving in greater ways in the days to come!
We want to wish you and yours a wonder-filled Christmas season and an amazing 2025!
May the Lord bless and keep you
